Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support business decision-making through accurate financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for multiple regional entities.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management and headquarters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and tax regulations across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with tax advisors to manage VAT/GST, corporate tax, and other compliance matters.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls for better efficiency.
- Support the company’s expansion by setting up accounting processes, financial systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance in new markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
